I visited Kollengode and contacted Kollengode Tourism to arrange for a day jeep safari. The guide was simply excellent; worked for 20 years for the forest service and knew everyone in the area, had great botanical knowledge and knowledge about the traditional people. Great bird and wildlife spotter. I visited Chulliyar Dam and Seetharkundu Waterfalls with him. I spent 3 weeks in and around Kerala wildlife parks, but this guide was the best I met.

It was a fantastic journey into Kollengode. On our way to Kollengode, we passed through scenic roads surrounded by rocks, trees, and waterfalls.
